Memory
Anyone who knows me even a little, knows also that I love my little sis, 5 years my junior. Also you know I have a real affinity for chickens. I love my sister because she is my family and we are all we have left of it since Mama died. Chickens remind me of family too because we kept them when I was small and then later when my parents retired to the country, they had them again. They are such pleasant birds, gentle and soft and are part of my past.
This is me, my sister and chickens. Taken around 1941 at our home in Pear Ridge, a suburb of Port Arthur, TX. I wish we still had the little red rocker pictured. I am pretty sure it was home made my someone in the family.

i wonder what it would have been like to have a sister...couldn't you have had just ONE more to try?
LOL
You haven't changed a bit.
I saw the email notice and wondered what the Poat was going to be. Guess your fingers skipped the r. That's OK I missed code on the picture I used in the big journal and had to go back!
Beautiful memories.
